The aim chat name is noisychat. If you do not see it then it may not be up and running, but the mods will try to have it up in the evening on the weekends (maybe just one day, maybe all three, we'll have to see how it goes). It is a good place to get to know your fellow players, pitch ideas for plots or general mayhem, and let people know when you've posted a comment.

For everyone's convenience, here is the contact list. As of now, e-mail is not listed. If enough people want it I will add it, however, please use aim instead of e-mail as often as possible to contact each other (since it is faster and much more reliable). If you want your nickname to be different than what you put in your app, just comment here or contact a mod via aim and we'll change it.

Also, what would be a good time for us to start up an aim chat room? If a mod can keep it active (or at least recreate it with the same name often) then it can be a place for players to meet up and discuss potential plots. Plus many players have asked if we can have a big one to kick things off. So now we need a time and a name.

There's lots and lots of people in the Baccano! universe and each of them is important to someone. So here's the place where players and mods alike can make a list of characters we would love to see someone apply for.

Comment here to request a character.

This is a primarily third person game. Posts are to be made in the main community (immortal_noise) with the place and time (relative or specific) in the subject. Characters can comment to that post to interact with each other in threads. If a serious thread is going on, please ask permission from the characters (via aim if you can since it is fastest) before entering it. Multiple threads can go on independently of each other in the same location but please try to be aware of who else is in your location and what they are doing (if a big fight breaks out, you might need to know).

Character journals (or specifically labeled posts in your personal journal if you want to use that for the game) can be used for first person posts. These posts are like your character's journal/diary. They can not be accessed by anyone else. You as players are free to read anyone's journal posts, but your characters can not.

The other use for character journals is sending letters. You can post your letter to any other character in your journal and then post a short notice on the main community saying that you have mailed something to the recipient. Please mark you letters as "LETTER TO (name of character)" so that they can be easily distinguished.

All ooc (out of character) comments should be posted in the (noisy_ooc) community.

This is the post where you can view the application and fill one out. Just a few notes:

1) Your applications will be posted here, in a screened reply. Don't send them to our e-mail or think you'll get priority if you do. We'll laugh and destroy it.
2) If you have questions, please leave them separate from your application and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. Whenever that may be.
3) Obviously, first come first serve, but only if you have the better app. And we're picky.
4) Make sure you've read all the rules and understand them before you post your app. We also STRONGLY advise you take a gander at the sample application we have provided for you. If you haven't, we will know. Oh, yes we will.

After Acceptance
If you have been accepted, please make sure you take the following actions:

1) Using your mun journal (if you chose to create a new character journal), please WATCH both the immortal_noise and noisy_ooc communities. Please do not FRIEND the mod journal or the community with your mun journals.
2) In your character journal (or whichever journal you use to RP), FRIEND and WATCH all other active character journals, the mod journal (noisy_mod), and the two communities (immortal_noise and noisy_ooc)
